Hefei Xinceyuan Makes Its Debut at the 4th National Symposium on Mass Spectrometry Analysis

2026-06-04 193

From 22 to 25 May 2026, the 4th National Symposium on Mass Spectrometry Analysis organised by the Chinese Chemical Society was grandly held at the Beijing International Convention Centre. Held under the theme ‘Mass Spectrometry Driving New Frontiers in Interdisciplinary Research’, the conference was organised by the Mass Spectrometry Analysis Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. It brought together over 1,700 experts, scholars and researchers from domestic and international research institutions, universities and industry for academic exchange, establishing itself as a highly influential and prestigious academic event in China’s mass spectrometry sector. Hefei Xinceyuan Instrument Technology Co., Ltd. made a significant appearance at the event with its full range of in-house developed products. The company’s Chief Scientist, Professor Pan Yang, was invited to deliver a special academic lecture, earning unanimous praise from industry experts for the company’s cutting-edge technology.

Deepening commitment to the R&D of domestically produced mass spectrometers, consolidating the company’s core technical capabilities

Hefei Xinceyuan Instruments is a high-tech enterprise specialising in the R&D, production, sales and supporting technical services of mass spectrometry and spectroscopy instruments. It possesses in-house R&D and production capabilities for key components such as complete mass spectrometers, mass analysers, ion sources, detectors and power supply modules, and can customise non-standard mass spectrometry and spectroscopy equipment to meet the needs of scientific research and industrial applications. The company’s six major product series cover diverse fields including energy and chemicals, environmental monitoring, tobacco testing, life sciences, pathological diagnosis, and food and drug safety. It focuses on addressing the ‘bottleneck’ challenges in domestically produced mass spectrometers and continues to drive innovation and the localisation of mass spectrometry instrumentation.

Focus on mass spectrometry imaging sources: cutting-edge products on display

The exhibition featured the MSI DPI electrospray/photochemical ionisation mass spectrometry imaging sources and the MSI LDPI laser/photochemical ionisation mass spectrometry imaging sources. Both imaging sources demonstrate outstanding sensitivity and spatial resolution. They are compatible with mass spectrometers from leading brands such as Agilent, Thermo and Waters, enabling the spatial visualisation of sample molecules and supporting cutting-edge research in life sciences and pathological diagnosis. Technical staff conducted hands-on demonstrations of the equipment, attracting a steady stream of scientific experts who came to observe and enquire.

The full range of ProC mass spectrometry products was also on display at the event: the ProC-1 and ProC-2 online time-of-flight mass spectrometers, the ProC-1C in-situ catalytic/pyrolytic mass spectrometry analysis system, and the ProC-1S multi-component dynamic flue gas analysis system, covering application scenarios such as online monitoring, in-situ pyrolysis/catalysis and flue gas detection.
